1. Reservations & Booking
All room bookings are subject to availability. A reservation is confirmed only upon receipt of a booking confirmation from The Modern Sarai team. Enquiries submitted via this website do not constitute a confirmed booking.
2. Check-In & Check-Out
Standard check-in time is 12:00 Noon and check-out time is 10:00 AM. Early check-in or late check-out may be arranged subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
3. Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the date of arrival will receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 48 hours of arrival may be subject to a one-night retention charge. No-shows will be charged for the full booking amount.
4. Room Tariff
All room rates displayed on this website are indicative and subject to change without prior notice. Applicable taxes (GST) will be charged as per government regulations at the time of booking. The final confirmed rate will be communicated at the time of booking confirmation.
5. Guest Conduct
Guests are expected to maintain decorum and respect the property and other guests. The management reserves the right to request any guest to vacate the premises in case of misconduct, without any refund obligation.
6. Food & Beverage
The Modern Sarai operates a pure vegetarian restaurant. Outside food and alcohol are not permitted in the dining areas or common spaces of the hotel.
7. Banquet & Events
Bookings for banquet halls (Rajangan and Mehfil) require a signed agreement and advance payment. Specific terms for events will be communicated separately at the time of booking.
8. Liability
The Modern Sarai is not responsible for loss or damage to guests' personal belongings. Guests are advised to use the in-room safe for valuables. The hotel's liability is limited to the extent permissible under applicable law.
